Coinciding with Father’s Day, the Etonkids Little Hosts contest concluded on June 19th with a party and prize ceremony. Participants in this year’s contest came from Beijing, Tianjin and Nanjing.
Starting in June 2010, Etonkids Little Hosts Search saw over 100 families participate representing 17 campuses. Goals of the contest were to give young students a chance to perform, practice language, communication, and on-the-spot thinking skills. It was also a chance for families to add a precious memory to their collections with something to look back upon to see how much growth children had achieved.
The top 20 winners received special recognition and opportunities to co-host Etonkids events.
Many special memories were created from this year’s contest including the sign of smiling ‘little hosts” on stage holding their trophies and smiling while parents looked on proudly at their children’s accomplishments
The awards ceremony featured lots of fun family games and tasty treats as well. Students showed their appreciation by giving dads specially made neckties for Father’s Day. Thank you to all families for helping make a truly memorable occasion.
