Dumpling Rolling to Asia Topic at Etonkids International Kindergarten – Lido Campus

[Share] [Copy Url ] [Large  Middle  Small]

Coming out of fantastic seasonal holiday activities including dumpling rolling and lantern making, we have proceeded on to our geographical topical unit: Asia. We are learning all about Asian countries, cultures, geography, geology, foods, music, art, etc.  Teachers designed the curriculum and made some wonderfully creative materials to complement it. It was a great transition and way to start the new term, documented through our class blogs.

We are all quickly becoming experts on Asia with classroom culture areas made into immersion settings of Asian art and foods.

Nursery Community students are also enjoying the sights and sounds of Asia in the classroom. In the second term, young ones have been learning several ways of demonstrating the “three cares” i.e. care for oneself, care for others, and care for the environment. We are also concentrating on artistic creativity this term as well as areas of healthy growth and development. Teacher Rachel held a parent workshop on March 19th sharing lots of art ideas for the whooe family.
