Good health relies on a balanced diet, so at GTM campus of Etonkids International Kindergarten, we take special care in preparing the children's school menu.
On February 26th 2009, Global Trade Mansion campus held a campus activity called “Etonkids Kitchen Taste Test”. Many parents came to our campus and enjoyed a variety of foods with their children. It is naturally a big concern for parents what their children eat every day, so we were pleased to allow them to try our foods so they could feel more confident that their children were receiving a balanced nutritious lunch.
We prepared a lot of delicious food! For example, we had: chicken wings, tomato shrimp, broccoli, butterfly rolls and creampuffs. These types of foods give children a well-balanced diet, helping them to grow big and strong. The parents also offered many valuable suggestions which we will consider for our future menus!
As the saying goes in the nutrition field “There is not really junk food, just an unreasonable diet.” Healthy food has many benefits for children, such as it helps their physical and mental abilities. We hope our parents will continue to consider the importance of the children’s diet and this event gave them the opportunity to see a good balanced menu that their children enjoy eating.
