Springtime Rhythms·Family English Song Fest Childhood is a time for joy … and a time for song!
February 22, 2009: Over 100 area families gathered at this Etonkids Huizhi Bilingual Kindergarten event at OCT to share in song and prepare for the coming of spring. Led by a dozen Etonkids teachers, including foreign English teachers Elise and William, some of the day’s memorable songs included 《If You’re Happy》, 《Twinkle, twinkle, little star》, and 《Donkey, Donkey》 among other English song favorites that many Chinese also know. Everyone had a fantastic time dancing along to the familiar rhythms.
One way Etonkids is accomplishing its goal of setting a new standard for early education in China is through activities such as Springtime Rhythms which shows that a child’s early years are a key time to explore creativity and experience learning through joy.
