Spanish Festival-Etonkids HuiZhi Bilingual Kindergarten(Dongli Vanke City Campus)
As our curriculum takes us across the ocean to the vast continent of North America, students in Tianjin’s Huizhi School got to experience the colorful country of Mexico first-hand in a spicy hot Spanish Festival. Under a wall sprinkled with student-made Mexican flags, children got into the groove of Latin American Music, as we danced to La Cucaracha, The Mexican Hat Dance, and various sounds of the Spanish Guitar wielding tambourines and rattles. Boys donned mariachi mustaches and girls the flamenco flower, as they took their aim at our hand-crafted, candy stuffed piñatas. The menu for the day boasted of a classic Mexican favorite, enchiladas, a very new and different taste for many Chinese students. The Spanish Cultural Festival made for a joyous afternoon of exploration and celebration, and served as a fully interactive international experience.
