To raise awareness of health issues affecting Beijing, including Hand Foot and Mouth Disease and H1N1 Flu, School Nurse Liu gave a thorough talk on keeping healthy and maintaining sanitary conditions in and outside of school. We sanitized ourselves using ultraviolet light to kill germs, and reviewed thoroughly disinfecting techniques for materials and kitchen utensils. We are striving to keep a healthy environment for our students everyday, including simple but critical measures of taking temperatures every day and washing hands often throughout the day.
