June 6, 2009: Etonkids Academic Director and founder of the Chinese Montessori International, Ms. Charmaine Soh, offered Nanjing parents an enlivening talk on Montessori education. Many of the attendees had already heard of Ms. Soh through her articles and notoriety in the Montessori world. Many came to advance their knowledge and understanding of Montessori from one of Asia’s foremost experts in the area. Ms. Soh had the crowd’s full attention from the start with her lively manner and engaging style. As participants sat fascinated throughout the talk, many did not want to leave. Topics covered included childhood educational and psychology, communication and overcoming obstacles. In addition to school parents, we were happy to welcome other local parents and teachers from other area schools.
