September 26, 2009: Nearly 100 Etonkids employees joined the festive grand opening of the newest Etonkids Bilingual Kindergarten campus in Beijing’s Olympic Village. The ceremony featured riveting lion dances, music, games, and activities spread around the inside and outside of the campus designed to welcome area families. After heartfelt speeches from Etonkids and Olympic Village representatives, the festivities got underway in this model futuristic community, which makes use of solar, hydropower and other clean technology. Etonkids is proud to be part to be part of this environmentally friendly community already demonstrating the effectiveness of clean energy.
Area families enjoyed taking a “tour of the world” with cultural games stationed around the campus, indoors as well as out. Following the “tour” parents were treated to an informative lecture by Etonkids Standards Advisor, Dr. Marlene Barron on Montessori and early education. It’s always a special occasion when Dr. Barron shares her world renowned expertise on these subjects and her fantastic energy. With the opening of the new campus, Etonkids looks forward to playing a pivotal role in the burgeoning academic environment around the Olympic Village.
