Eton is alive with music whether
it be songs being sung during Circle Time or instrumental
music being played in the background to stimulate
children's imaginations. Each Eton Campus has
a set of Montessori Bells as well as a piano or keyboard,
and many other percussion instruments. Singing is
a daily
occurrence
during Circle Time and children
are introduced to the concepts of rhythm and melody
during special music sessions. Children work to recognize
tonal differences and scales, compose tunes
and sing a variety of songs. |
